Smart Pay extends financial aid through Smart Pay Care

Smart Pay, the WPS-compliant leading payroll solution from UAE Exchange, has stood up for the needy yet again.

This prodigy of the leading global remittance and foreign exchange brand is extending financial aid to those employees of its clients, who are either critically ill or are disabled due to an accident.

Smart Pay has taken up this cause through its CSR initiative called Smart Pay Care, wherein 10 most critical cases are selected and provided with the financial aid to support their medical treatment. The event, for the same, was conducted at the Country Head Quarters of UAE Exchange, UAE Operations in Dubai.

Smart Pay Care is an initiative from the WPS-compliant leading payroll solution for the welfare of the employees of its clients. This is the second time that Smart Pay Care has taken up the cause of the employees of Smart Pay clients. The other initiatives of Smart Pay include Smart Pay Appreciation Programme and Smart Pay HR Summit, which aim at encouraging excellence in all spheres. Smart Pay was established seven years ago to address the salary disbursal challenges faced by corporate entities. By partnering Smart Pay, clients automatically adhere to the Wages Protection System (WPS), initiated by UAE Ministry of Labour and the Central Bank of the UAE. WPS was established to streamline the salary disbursal process and protect the interests of both employers and their employees.

The event, held in Dubai, was attended by clients of Smart Pay, senior officials of UAE Exchange, special invitees and the media.

UAE Exchange donates 5 Million Philippine Pesos to WFP for typhoon relief

Echoing the UAE Government’s generous support extended to the Philippines, under the guidance of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai and in partnership with Dubai Charity Association, UAE Exchange, a leading global remittance and foreign exchange company, donated 5 million Philippine Pesos in support of the United Nations World Food Programme’s (WFP) efforts to assist those devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan. Thousands of people lost their lives and hundreds of thousands were left homeless, when Haiyan hit the Philippines on 8th November.

This is the second time that UAE Exchange is joining hands with WFP. The two organisations launched their partnership for Ramadan this year with a contribution aimed at providing daily meals to underprivileged school children in Africa.

Throughout the years, UAE Exchange has supported a myriad of environmental, social and humanitarian causes. As a socially responsible corporation, it is partnering once again with WFP to provide emergency food assistance to families affected by the monster storm.
